Good to see these released. My purchase is going to have to wait until some more cash arrives in the bank though :(
You probably want to change the description for the SAS entry though, it currently has them listed as ARU cops.

Well, the first figure you showed us turned out great.
I'm afraid the rest don't do anything for me at all. Maybe one of the WPCs is ok but it's hard to tell from the single angle photo.

Have to agree, the sas are really poor sorry.
Can we buy individual figures rather than packs?

I have seen these in the metal now and my opinion has changed somewhat. They are a little on the slight side for me, way too small for my meagre skills to pick out all the details and some that looked very dodgy in the photos look fine once they're in your hand. Not all of them mind you, the bare headed Policeman still seems to have no neck :)
I'm trying without much success to paint a couple of the armed police, the kneeling chap looked very odd in the photo but looks very nice in reality. I'm struggling to cope with the size of the miniatures still. I can't paint Hasslefree stuff either so it's just me.
I've cheated and added the two SAS I got to my Embassy squad, they're black and drybrushed which is easy to do with some green lenses to their respirators. Not much of a paint job but exactly what I need for the proposed game so you'll have to live with it.

here they are with a pair of TAG hostage bases which might give an indication of their size and proportions.

If the Police are passable when I'm finished (don't count on it) I'll post them too.

Has this range ceased to be available? The ebay shop has gone!
-
No, the figures are still around but we closed the e-bay shop as it was taking up too much time and money, plus I am under threat of redundancy in the real world, so am working later and later on the main income. We hope to have our new website set up during October and have enough cash to get the next releases cast up.

Should have said - PM me if you want some!

In the brief period while the ebay shop was open I managed to pick up a Beat 2 pack (ARU WPC's, one CO19 WPC with G36c and one PC) which arrived today. Some of the forum pics and comments made me a little hesitant about the quality of the models but now I have seen them in the flesh (so to speak) I am very impressed. The quality (which is very good) and scale fits well with my Hasselfree not-Hot Fuzz figures (although they are a bit smaller than the no-go zone range - but not so as to be unplayable together). As a newcomer to 28mm from smaller scales I am no expert, but I would recommend these figures –in fact I am already trying to hunt Grimjack down for some more!

Further to my last post, I got the following PM from Gimjack:
Owing to the real world job and joys of potential redundancy, we have partially mothballed the company until things get better - I hope! We may even start looking to see if anyone wants to buy stock, moulds and rights, which indicates where we are. I managed to get the masters for the gangs release sorted but do not have the disposable income to get production moulds done. Will let everyone know if we get things back together.
Hope the range can be revived.
