Trying to convert the kneeling, pistol firing marine from Gripping Beast into another heavy weapons man for my huge(!) UNIT section. The rather fanciful bazooka is made from a Japanese toothpick (don't ask) and some milliput. Will try to post painting pics. :D

Looks good, don't be so hard on yourself.

That looks really nice. Better then the one from Black Tree. I have a bunch of the "official" ones and I'm a bit jealous. Terrific work.

The pose is perfect. No so sure about the weapon though.

I like the pose and the general shape of the bazooka, but I'm not sure putty was the right choice; maybe some plastic tubing would give better definition and smoother surfaces. That said, I cannot sculpt really smooth surfaces myself, but it does look a bit rough.

looks good... as has been send, ditch the putty and use some tube and rod for detail... the base of the toothpick is a great idea...

I think you're both right, I'll have another go and use something else. I'll keep the fantasy element and make it a 'Carl Gustav like' weapon. Post pics when it's done. :D

Looks great - heroic effort with the putty, although I'd agree with the tube and rod suggestions.
Just the kind of kit a unit like UNIT would be issued with! 8)
