Post by: scarabminiatures on 12 August 2010, 09:30:16 PM
Hope you all like this one

Heres a link to the Projekt X forum
http://scarabminiatures.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=391 where you can view some of the other forthcoming releases on the forum except the female SOE agent as shes a bit shy  :D
We will be bringing the whole Projekt X background to life in a few months time but in the meantime you can use these miniatures with the game system of your choice.  :D

(And theres no pic of the SOE agent as I haven;t had time to resize)

Looks like it could be a WWWII Audie Murphy kicking the shit outta those Nazis standing on top of a burning American tank.

Great mini,
Brian

Now, don't get me wrong, I like the figure, he's got great cool factor.  My beef comes from the fact that the gun itself weighs about 84 lbs, not counting the ammunition belt, which is awfully short, by the way.  At the very least, I would expect him to have to brace the butt of the gun against his right leg.  As for firing it, well, he doesn't look like he's quite as big as Sgt.Rock's Bulldozer and he usually only used a .30! Could be an experience to watch!

The guy got a cigar in his mouth, that gives him infinite ammo and and obviously super strength ;)

Like but scale will preclude me from purchasing, (even as a sentinel in SoTR) I think he'rs going to be out of kilter with my other stuff.

Shame as it's a damn fine Sgt Rock stand in.

:D

Yes 1/48th is larger than 28mm (although for some figures, not that much!!) but of course the sensible idea is to start gaming in 1/48 with small squads  :D

Different game but you can use the same terrain

Yes Yes, I have an obvious bias..  ;D

As for the sarge and the 50 cal, hes an American super soldier to fight Projekt X... his specially modified .50 is no problem..  Once hes cast we will probably do a conversion or two for different weapons.
