Guys,
Just posted on TMP, this bunch are doing 50% off all Airfix kits. I know it's been mentioned before but these two are really worth looking at, especially at half price:
Steam Engine

Beam Engine

A steal at 6.49 a pop.

They have discounted Revell kits too.
Including 1/48 WWI aircraft.
Probably more useful for pulp or interwar, but interesting to see what ekse there is at half price.

Does anyone know roughly what the scale of these things are? If they come out being 10 times standard scale size it'd be of less use, I expect.

1:32, according to the above links.

I picked up one of the Beam Engines off e-bay some time ago. It is one of my 'to-do' models.

Strange, I would have thought half off counted as 'discounts and deals'... :?
Too bad shippage from the UK to the colonies would eat up the savings.
