I guess these guys go in here rather than in the superhero board.

They look heaps better than my versions. 8)

Nicely done, JB! :-*
I really must get around to doing my own set one of these days... ::)
-
nice paintjob
what are Ratzis?
-
Really nice paint yet again JB, they look fantastic.
My jury is still out on these sculpts, I would so like a nice Cap. without a gun
-
Great paintjob there! :) I am so happy I own a copy of these and to see such nicely painted examples motivates me quite a bit. Although I am thinking of using the old kite shield for mine.
-
Thank you all. :)
what are Ratzis?
It was US slang for Nazis. As in "You dirty rat... zis." ;)

They really don't.

ah, thx
good to know
-
Looking good JB! I was just looking at mine yesterday trying to decide which shield to use of Cap.

Fantastic paint!

Those look great! I'm a big fan of Captain America and recently I've seen a load of these figures kicking around and I was just wondered where they're from?
-
The great thing about a few superheroes is that they can be pulled into WWWII games, I regularly use Cap, Union Jack, Human Torch, Hellboy, Red Skull and Batman in SoTR games. :D

Now try going up against this guy! The Golden Age Sup is nothing like the modern incarnation so it can be a lot of fun.

Sups make any WWWII game great,

FYI re: Golden Age Superman. If you do netflix online you can find a circa 1942 Superman cartoon video. It's over an hour long but just a collection of short (5min maybe) vingettes all packed together. Great fun. I can find the exact title if needed (Wii is off at the moment).

The classic Superman shorts by Max Fleischer are fantastic! That's how I depict Sup in my games, still indestructible but can still be knocked around and put on his ass.
