Does anyone carry these in the US? I thought Ironwind Metals had them at the HMGS cons but they aren't on their site.
Thanks Pete

Yes, it was Ironwind. Only a small selection of steam tanks and Sanwar though, not the full range.

Hey Fitterpete,
Where are you in maryland? I am in Charles County. If you are anywhere close by, we should get together and game sometime... Of course there is a good chance I already know you, just not recognizingyour handle here...

Hey Andy,
Yeah you kind of know me, we met at Historicon.I bought one of each British blister(except Ghurkas) and a Highlander regiment on Friday or maybe even Thursday? My buddy Adam Hughes and I talked to you a good bit about the Vendel range.Looking forward to ordering some Cav,Sikhs and the new variant packs from you when they come out.
I'm just southeast of Frederick,New Market .I game at a club in Hagerstown mostly but Steve from Age of Glory and I have been talking about doing some ECW or colonials at the Hobbytown in Frederick. They rent tables out for like $10.
He and I used to game regular at a store down near him but it shut down.
If we get something together we'll let you know.

You have to RENT tables?!? THAT'S whats wrong with our business model! Snickies!
Sorry, just teasing. I wish the hobby here was active enough to make table renting necessary in the face of demand.
We might actually see a profit somewhere other than on the books... ;->=
As an aside, I wish I'd seen this conversation before GenCon; could have had a partner scope out if Ironwind had any there.

PS And never give up on the idea of freebies; several fraternal organizations and libraries will have space they're willing to donate for such activities. I'm sure you can come up with other ideas, say, schools.

I just ordered directly from Ironclad. Got quick service, too.

Beast,
We're actually very lucky around here. The club I belong too(about 40 minutes away) has the upstairs of a building(downstairs is the county food bank) we rent for next to nothing. There are four 8X4s set up all the time in one room with a smaller room for terrain storage and one guy seems to make terrain 24hrs a day.The other large room has small fold out tables for board and card games with two couches and kitchen area.We have extra 6X4 table tops that can be set up on the card tables to make three or four more tabletop gaming tables.
Dues are a measley $10 a month. We usually have between 15 and 20 members at any given time.
Then the Hobbytown USA I mentioned is about 15 minutes from where I live. They have about 10 or 12 tables set up all the time and a lot of terrain(mostly for 40k) You can be a member of that club for $10 or $15 a month.Or do like I sometimes do and just go rent a table for a game at $10.The money goes to the club who pay for the room, not directly to Hobbytown.
I also have a "storage house"(old farmhouse that is too rundown for anyone to live in) about 30 minutes away.I keep most of my miniatures there and have a 16X5 game table.
Where I actually live is the finished basement of my brothers house.I have a 6X4 there too.
Plus I'm no more than a hour or two from all the HMGS cons.
I am very fortunate to live in the area I do.

On topic I went ahead and ordered direct also. We'll see.

Well that worked rather well.Got my figures today .
from across the pond in seven days.Bravo Ironclad!
They are really nice figures too.Now if we could just get them to do variant poses for each pack they have out.
-
What did you get?
-
Martians, two of each pack plus leader and John Carter figure.
