A new Post-Apocolyptic Game seems to be out.

Nuclear Renaissance

I absolutely love the vehicles and the 'mix and match' options.

Very interesting. Nice looking vehicles. I am midway through building a post apocalypse collection. Some of these will blend in quite nicely. Thanks for the link. :)

Hey guys!

Thanks for the encouraging posts here!

We have some rules coming out pretty soon, called Nuclear Renaissance.

The rules are for skirmish campaigns in a post apocalyptic wasteland. You have a few dudes and vehicles and fight it out. Its multiplayer, so 3 or 4 player games work well in the system.

You have alot of freedom when making characters. You can start out with anything from one super uber hero tooled to the nines, or a swarm of maybe 50 stupid goons! Well, then chuck in the transport, bikes, rail cannons and hundreds of skills and abilities and its mayhem all round!

One of the game designers, Gill, studies sword fighting, and so his combat experiences have gone into trying to make the system as realistic as possible without bogging down in mechanics. In the end, it plays quite rapidly, and gives players plenty of scope for awesome clashes.

The game stresses combat and vehicles over fire power. Guns in the future wasteland are difficult to maintain and costly. Better to clart a goon on the noggin or run him over with your giant armoured truck!

Anyway, should be out in the first week of september. We will be taking orders then. It will be free to download but we will be offering nicely bound, full colour hard copies in our shop!

Ahh, just basically cut the cost on the model vehicles. Nothing in particular just a basic sale on most stuff!

That Spider tank looks great.  Is it going to be all modular and interchangeable like the other vehicles?

Is the Spider tank going to be out before the sale ends ?

Yes indeedy. In the studio we have already made many humerous comic robots with the legs. Dunk is working on a walking truck with a cage on it to stick low point zombie/slave/psycho combat fiends in.

Yes. It will also ship with a turret and other triddlins like hatch covers and weapons...

Fantastic.  :)

The mechanical spider legs are going to be great for all kinds of Weird War, VSF, Weird Wild West and Pulp projects, as well as their Post-Apocalyptic home.

I love the Ramshackle stuff, I've been watching the range with great interest, I love the fact they do  a scenario pack with figures, vehicles and buildings.

I would love to see a company do a Not Mad Max figure. I reckon that would be the clincher for me delving into the world of the Post Apocolyptic. :D

I know I've seen at least one "not Mad Max" around. Can't remember where though.

Funnily, I don't think that's the one I was thinking of.

HLBSC does a Madmax but it's 35mm. scale

The Em4 one is more Thunderdome than Roadwarrior.

The EM4 figure has never really done it for me. Great conversion though.

I bought the HLBS figure by accident as I didn't pay attention to the scale. Now a 28mm figure just like that would be fabtastical.

Yeah I love the mad max films. On the Golden Throne forum somone was asking me to make the interceptor that max drives. Its all a bit dodgy on the copyright front though. Im sure making a post apocalyptic game with mad max and his car is going to get me in trouble! Anyway, rise above that and make up you OWN heroes! Who wants mad max when you can have mad maxine with cybernetic upgrades and driving a tank?!

No one owns the copyright for dropping the big one dude!  ;)

(except perhaps the olde ol' US of A).

My apologies for resurrecting this thread.  I'm a tad late to the party, so to speak.

Anyways... a bit of FYI... the V8 Interceptor from "The Road Warrior" was a 1973 Ford Falcon XB Coupe.  Earlier this month, Auto Art released a 1/18 Scale die-cast model of it.
