I had a couple of "Dr who" plastic werewolves knocking about and thought I' have a go a converting one for some Victorian Monster Hunting.
I was ju going to give it a repaint but the original mini is a little basic for my tastes. The stance is too upright and it was missing some clothing...

I decided to re-position the legs and give it a more stooped appearance. I also added some trousers and a shirt with some Green-stuff.

Here's a comparison shot between an original mini and the conversion.

You're an artist, PM.

Henry, it's bloody brilliant mate :-*
-
Much better! I like the scary gloom in his eyes.
-

-
Very nice!
-
Looks good.

That conversion is very well done.Totally changed the original miniature.
When can we send ours to you then :D.

That's the dog's. 8)

Spot on! :-*
-
Wow...very impressive Sir.Brilliant! :D
-
Outstanding! A reasonable model becomes a great one.
I have half a dozen of those for Dog Soldiers type scenarios, but am too chicken to hack them up and repose them. It would only end in :'(
PM weaves his spells again!

That looks great, good work. :)

Bloody brilliant :-*

Thank you for the comments. I currently digging around for other "plstics" to convert.
Curtis: As soon as I've got a decent "back-drop" ( more buildings in the pipeline) I'll post some VSF group shots.

I won't hear of it! As always, we thank you! Except those of us who hate you for our feelings of inadequacy. lol
Just out of curiosity, were you thinking of Oliver Reed? The cloth bunches up just about the same as the movie.
Dead brilliant...

Wow, great conversion.
I think this is simple but effective enough that the process would really benefit from a tutorial (nudge, nudge)...
-
Great work! That's ended up being a fantastic werewolf figure, which can't be said about the original!
-
Very Ollie read meets Lon Chaney... I like!
If anyone's got one spare knocking around I'd me interested in giving this a whirl.

Well stop messing about on the computer and get on with it then! ;)

Bloody hell!! A cracking change on that, well done sir!
-
Excellent job, shame they didn't make them a little bigger in the first place.....who did their marketing? ::)
-
"Dem Wemwolf, Dativ, wie man's nennt;
"Den Wenwolf, damit hat's ein End."
Nice work! Don't forget the silver bullets, Watson!
-
Brilliant! Totally transforms the original, and - perhaps more importantly - the final result fits right into your grand project. Lovely continuity between everything you've done for this.
Like Ramshackle_Curtis, I'm looking forward to that comprehensive shot of everything you've done so far!
Great work once again.

A group shot is compulsory!
-
I agree with the previous posters - a really great conversion. Now, go and shoot him.
-
Yes that's a great conversion. You mentioned that the model is a plastic Dr Who? Was there a series of plastic 28mm figures from the show?

There is, "Dr Who Micro Universe":

Still available (in the UK at least) on Amazon and requently on EBay. Some very good others pretty dodgy. A great source of very nice Daleks in particular though :D
