Title: Does anyone make Farscape mini models?
Post by: WarGameGuru on 12 September 2010, 04:23:07 AM
I was wondering, did anyone ever make some models based on the characters from the Farscape TV series?

Nope (sadly)
Some of course are easy to find stand-ins for, some not so easy :(

Now I'm going to have to dig my boxsets out again, forgot how much I liked (like) it!

Shame you can get figures for it.

Was one amazing Sci-Fi series, really enjoyed what I watched, until it got moved onto a channel I never had :'( Got a couple of the box sets in the house somewhere there my brothers. Shame about the minis it would be a great game to play.

Great series at the start. It lost its way towards the end and the final episode was utter......pants (I don't like to swear!) but it was a fucking awful ending.

I heard the last episode was bad so have never watched it!

I thought the Peacekeeper Wars was a good ending. It was a film made of a series' story arc but that's better than no series at all.

So they get machine gunned in a rowing boat. Pretty good ending for a sci-fi series eh? This is a series I liked, spent time watching, gave my attention,  and they treat me like that? Machined gunned in a **&kng row boat?  What the.....?

That isn't the end of Farscape, that's just the cliffhanger for the end of season 4.

I kinda lost track of Farscape when there was two versions of the main character running about, think it was time slot jumping quite a bit.

There's more...? Please tell me there's more....

Sorry Sci fi and black leather is a winning combo for me...always was always, will be .

The Peacekeeper Wars is a mini series that wraps everything up.

Didnt they edit it into a tv-movie? Saw bits on Chanel 5 last year, couldnt make heads nor tail of what was going on.

Who knows? Who cares? The region 1 two-disc set is the best version. I can't remember why the other versions are inferior because it was a long time ago when I bought it but I remember there being problems with some versions. Amazon reviewers will know.

Oh it became such a convolulted story to try and keep it going (Lost anyone?) that even fans started to struggle. But the female leads were....

kind of fabulously superb. Not 'beautiful', just magnificent.

Ohhhh, that Claudia Black  :-* ;D

I disagree, Farscape had the hottest sci-fi vixens EVER, outside of T'Pal played by Jolene Blaylock from Enterprise.

I always thought Zhaan was unbelievably hot.  Beautiful, graceful, and quitely badass.  She was too good for Crichton.

That show was all about sexual frustration in space, I was surprised it was a Jim Henson production really because of it.

At one point I recall D'argo's son was banging his his girlfriend Chiana, and then she took him back and he was all jacked about that for the rest of the series run. I don't think there was a chick on that show I didn't have the hots for, except for Noranti and Grayza, and even Grayza had a few hotness moments before she was all pregnant. Zhaan was getting naked every chance she could get too. Did you know she was one of the chicks from the original Road Warrior movie too?

I was so crushed when they ended Farscape, because I got into it as it was close to the end of the run. I actually hated it at first, but then it grew on me, and I realized just how cool it was. It was nice to see that SyFi channel ended up using Ben Browder and Claudia Black on the Stargate Series, but it just wasn't the same.

So now Farscape ends up in that hall of fame for obscure and short ran sci-fi TV series of days gone be, right along side classics like Space 1999 and the Planet of the Apes TV Series.

Great shading on the Chiana mini. I wonder if they used dry-brushing or washes  ;)

Yeah, but Warrior Woman couldn't hold a candle to my beloved Zhaan.  And she was 50 when she played Zhaan, only 29 when she played Warrior Woman.

What?  I'm not obsessed, stop looking at me... o_o

Ok but all in all it was a good show.  Now back to the topic any minis that would fit the cast?

I found this report on a Farscape game a while back and they seem to be using Void/Urban War figures with Aeryn and Chiana coming from the Militia Females with Pistols set.

Well, in an attempt to keep from being completely useless, I would suggest Heresy's Texas Bruce as a respectable Crichton and Ellie Mental as that treacherous hag Sikozu.

I'm really surprised with the number of half completed Firefly mini lines that there aren't at least a couple from Farscape.

Sorry, just noticed this thread, and wanted to say that I met Z'haan in person; the actress, silly, at a con a few years back...

I definitely had the hots for warrior chick, Z'haan moved me, but Virginia Hey in person melted my circuits.

When I asked for a picture with her, she proceed to drape herself over my shoulders in a manner that left me breathless, and grinning like a fool in the resulting flash. She's into various health disciplines, and I always assumed she heightened my experience with stealth Shiatsu or the like...  lol

I've never met any of the other actresses from the show; had hopes for Claudia Black after the move to SG-1 that we might cross paths at another convention, but alas...  :'(

Oh, wait, we were discussing the search for minis. I remember now...
