Title: [BS2] Subterrain power plant.
Post by: Criamon on 12 September 2010, 03:53:27 PM
For this contest my idea was to build some element to give ambience to science fiction games, such as aliens or adventures of colonists on other planets.

For a colony to grow on a hostile planet, the first thing necessary is to build an underground power plant, as the planet's atmosphere is not suitable to make life on the surface, therefore, is built across the central deep , Leaving outside the buildings maintenance and cleaning of air generators.
The materials I used for this competition are mostly recycling and beverage caps, industrial parts, some projectile cap and a hatch of a vehicle from warhammer 40k.
Anyway, I leave you now with pictures that describe the step by step so you can see that it is.

Greetings and apologies for my English.  ;)

I better repeat the following from the competition rules post:

Quote
Members can post WIP photos if they like. The advantage of WIPs means they can be used for future reference and would allow people to see how the item was constructed.  Each entrant should start a WIP thread for their own submission (WIPS only please, no completed items until after the contest has ended).  Posting such a thread is however NOT compulsory.

Is any wargaming piece really complete without spent shell casings somewhere in the build?   :-*Inspired.

I'm inspired and distraught all at the same time.

Such a cool idea and much nicer in execution than mine (so far).

And I knew saving all those bottle caps off of those 2-liters would come in handy beyond barrels for 28mm and escape pods for 15mm.

Really nice work there.

Tim
