As seen in the first picture on Paul Darnell's Touching History blog:
http://www.touchinghistory.blogspot.com/
I remember seeing it before, but cannot remember who makes it.
Thanks.

Could that be the one from Eureka?

Is it Eureka ?
-
No, it is not Eureka's Miss Fondelwell, if it is her you are thinking of.
I am thinking it is a conversion. It looks Copplestonish to me. Is it Foundry's Jane with the bikini top off?
-
In fact it is not an eureka's miniature.
I think that she is some reaper miniature!
-
I didn't realize Paul Darnell was back in business. That's a jolly nice site. Well worth a browse (but no, I don't know who makes the bathing belle - although I agree the face is copplestone-ish... )
-
I'm 95% sure it's not a Reaper figure.
-
You're right -- looking at her now, she does look like a Copplestone figure.
However, the Eureka figure could be very easily converted. Simply cut down the metal bathtub edges (and more if necessary), put her into a wooden tub, then fill with clear resin with appropriately placed bubbles/ripples.
-
That looks like a conversion of the Wargames Illustrated magazine special offer Lady Godiva figure to me.
-
Phondelwell has a quite different pose:

Like warrenbruhn suggested, it's a conversion from Lady Godiva on horseback, a promo figure by Wargames Illustrated. There was also a clad version sculpted by Soapy of Gripping Beast fame.

Both seem to be still available at North Star (LINK (http://www.northstarfigures.com/prod.php?prod=2046)).
However, for a bathing female I would definitely go with the one posted by Hammers. :P
-
There is also the "Bathtime For Bubbles" vignette from Crocodile games (although Bubbles is a bit elfy...):

Bubbles also available separately from her tub.
-
I can't see the pic you're refering to in the blog, but I think it may be this one:
If it's this one, it's from Andrea Miniatures and is discontinued.
-
More choices than I thought!
I've ordered the Eureka fig. I can convert it easily and I like her pose the best.
-
I received the Eureka girl yesterday. A marvelous sculpt! Nice that she is separate from the tub.
Problem is...she's quite tiny. Very tiny compared to "regular" 28mm figures.
Maybe she's just a small, thin woman or teenage girl, but her size is still not registering well with me.
Not sure if I'll use her in my game now. :(

Not sure if I'll use her in my game now. :(
Sometime I find that figures that look a little too small (or a little too big) compare to other figures in my collection look just fine once painted… maybe you should give it a try
-
Bathtime for Bubbles is perhaps a bit small and a bit modern but by removing some of the accessories or mixing and matching with Eurekas Ophelia, you can create a nice vignette. I would like to see the women in the tub with handmaiden pouring water from a ewer produced again.
-
She works just fine after all.

The Predicament:
Colonel Depardieu doesn't quite know what to do with Mademoiselle Boulon.
-
Love the scene. I am sure that Colonel Depardieu will come up with a solution lol lol
-
Told you that once painted… ;)
Very nice paintjob 8) I’m curious about the tub though… is it scratch build?
-
The tub is from a Bayardi pack -- M54/13 Wooden Tubs & Bucket (1/32).
-
Bayardi? Link? Not a manufacturer/brand that I am familiar with?
-
Armand P. Bayardi is a US company, makers of terrain items for dioramas.
From another post: "The quality of his work is unsurpassed, as far as I have seen. He was a jeweler in the past, and it shows in the detail he puts into his work. In addition, he is one of the best resin casters working anywhere today."
I can concur.
There is no mailing address or website shown on the product tag. Can't find a Bayardi website either, but there are many links to US retailers who stock it. Don't know about UK/Europe stockists.
Not much help. Sorry.
