I believe this is somewhat new, I had not come across it before...but I thought the pose was very nice.
Anyway, I wanted to replace some of the mummies I had drybrushed years ago and wanted to paint the individual bandages to see how those would look.
Now I need a new dracula and werewolf!!!

What company makes this mummy T?
-
it's made my reaper and its part of the dark heaven line 2007 lineup. It looks like they sell a single blister or a 3 pack

Nice one Todd!

That's a really nice mummy.
Very "Jonny Quest"!

very nice! I've got a few mummies but never could find the energy to do them, they look tedious! You painted the strips of cloth very nicely!

thanks for the kind words, he was not too bad ...since he was only two colors (although many shades of each) he took maybe and 1.5 hours to paint up.

Hes not really new hes been out since 2004
You can find him here:
http://reapermini.com/
in the warlord section:
http://www.reapermini.com/gallery/warlord
if you look under Nefsokar you will find him there
and if you look under Necropolis you will find vampires and Skeletons

Love the paintwork! You've made the bandages look really old - mine always seem to look as if he's just been released from the Casualty department, no matter how I try to age them.... :(
Cheers,
Ian

I just picked up a pack of these mummies recently, perhaps I'll try your method out.
