Title: Cthulhu Plays?
Post by: abhorsen950 on 16 September 2010, 07:48:34 PM
I've been a fan of plays for a long time, I enjoy reading them, they help me imagine it quite well, it started with Journeys end and Macbeth last year but thats not important, I'm a big fan of H.P Lovecraft and his writings on the Mytho's but we're any made into plays, or are the plays wrote by others?

I'm hoping for these plays to be in book format or can be found online, maybe a pdf or something?
Cheers
Steve

I don't believe he wrote any plays, but a lot of fans are surprised that he was a poet. A complete listing of his works is here:

Most of the good pulp era authors were poets.  Robert E. Howard wrote wonderful prose, Clark Ashton Smith as well.  Frederick Faust aka Max Brand was a poet who couldn't stand the westerns he made his living off of.  At the same time he was making five times as much as any other pulp author prior to the crash, and he wrote some damn good stories to boot.
