Awesome!

Good paint job! I like very much this miniature. :)

"Eisenfaust" Straken! Yay! Too bad they pretty much lost it with the plastic Catachans, both the original metal minis and the later ones were rather nice.
Great work on the metal effects, and those pants are excellent, too.

Fantastic paint job! Really really good, it's a great figure and you've done it justice!
The plastic Catachan infantry can be vastly improved by adding backpacks and such, it draws attention away from the over-sized arms.

top class!

Great painting, but I prefer the classic Straken model.

Fantastic paint job, the trousers a very well done.
-
Great mini. I really like your understated NMM bionics...

Looks like 'regular' metallics (though very nicely done) to me. Great paintjob though the metal 'muscles' on the model don't really work for me 8)

I always thought the over-sized arms were right in keeping with the original (2nd ed) background where Catachan was a high-g world and other regiments referred to them as 'baby Ogryns' (behind their backs...). I think the Perrys stayed true to that point in sculpting them the way they did, but it got forgotten along the way!

Was a nice model, a little pricey but you've done an excellent job.
