Title: Malware, Google and so on

the bad news is: this is true, our beloved forum has been infected with malware. The good news is that I've been able to find the evil script and delete it. At the moment it looks like LAF isn't infected any more. I've requested a new Google inspection, this could take about 24 hours. After that, I assume that this Google malware warning will be deactivated.

For the time being just try to use IE (Internet Explorer) instead Firefox, IE seems to be more resistant against Google warnings.

Also I've updated forum software (to SMF 1.1.11) and hope we won't get infected again. Though there is a small problem with the upload of avatars, that doesn't work properly. I will try to work this out, please be patient and just don't try to upload a new avatar next days.

I'm really sorry for trouble. For the future I've registered LAF on the Google Webmaster tools and will get immediately such warnings.

Hopefully we can figure out where this crap (the malicious content) is originating from and block it.

Too true!

I missed the first round, but what for me was yesterday's was actually painful. I've rather grown addicted to this place! :o
