Title: LVTs - Looking for painting inspiration
Post by: cdm on 26 September 2010, 12:42:30 AM
I have twenty or so 20mm lvts from Airfix, Skytrex and Hobby Master I need to get painted up sometime for a Pacific war game. I'm looking for some pics from others of general wargaming standard paint jobs to inspire me along my way. I have the Osprey and and a nice modelling book on LVT's but the super amazing paint jobs are leaving me a bit flat :(

IIRC the early ones were in Battleship Grey but later on they changed to Marine/Army colours once they realised they would be used further inland and needed some concealment for their hulking bodies.
