I ran across a couple of interesting photos of Japanese armored trains in the early 30's - perfect for BoB. Just put 559 in the content section of the link.

There are some interesting photos in that article, maybe it should be crossposted to the back of beyond board thanks for finding and sharing

The images deeper into the issue are also fascinating for Pulp purposes.

A fascinating glimpse into that era in China. Lots to ponder on, model and game! Thanks for sharing. :)

Very cool. I find it interesting that the article, as I read it, seems to favour the Japanese.
-
Interesting that it cost $7200 to raise a child until it was 18 back then :-X

Very nice looking choo choo-Very inspirational :)

The trains are cool, but the armoured motorcycle on pg. 553 is pure pulp!
Three guys, a machinegun and armour on a motorcycle... I'm guessing these wouldn't be setting any speed records...

Use a screen capture and then cut from there? Unfortunately the result seems low resolution.

Company B make a 1/56th Sumida armored railcar shown in the pictures. Comes with both railway wheels and rubber tires.

I'm surprised that the VSF fraternity haven't commented on the Newtonian steam engine further into the magazine.
