Title: Nemesis the Warlock's Blitzspear Model
Post by: Supercollider on 05 October 2010, 10:28:59 PM
I've been thinking about making Nemesis the Warlock's ship - the 'Blitzspear' for some time, and did a google search to find some reference, when I stumbled upon a cracking build by some other guy.

Looks great!

Not sure I'll get time to tackle this in the near future, but I thought it might be of interest to the sci-fi/200AD crowd.

Seth!!  :o

Not bad, a bit long and a bit narrow but you know exactly what it is.

I say! Now that's a nice piece, and I have to say I like the slightly "sleeker" look a bit better than the "podgy" one in some of the stories. Still, I think the rear portion is a bit too narrow, and if I built one for my collection I'd probably just widen that area. I really like how he captured the "beak", though.

I agree with you both about some of the proportions - I'd certainly bulk up the rear section a little.

I think the 'eyes' and the beak are spot on though.
