Title: Moonfleet Miniatures: the best kept secret in wargaming?
Post by: Black Cat Bases on October 18, 2010, 08:37:28 PM
Black Cat Bases are very pleased to announce that we now have the licence to produce Moonfleet Miniatures 28mm range of figures.

Rees at Moonfleet has decided to concentrate on his new 18mm and 15mm ranges and has therefore licensed his 28mm range to us.

This is very exciting as there are many, many miniatures in this range that have never been seen before! We would like to thank Rees for this opportunity which we feel will be good for both companies and will see the release of some lovely new Sci Fi and Fantasy models for you to game with!

Everything that was already on the Moonfleet Miniatures website has been added to Black Cat Bases site and is available for order (it will also remain available on the Moonfleet site). In the short while that we have had the moulds in our possession, we have almost double the amount of codes available for sale, see what he had sitting in the workshop!:) and many more are on their way over the next few weeks.

We will be making everything here at Black Cat in-house and so if you order from our range and Moonfleet’s all the items will be shipped together (saving you postage!) and there will be no delays due to restocks etc.

I have some smoggers - nice minis, fun to paint and field. I need more. Will Black Cat be making the support weapons for these little guys? I only ask as I never got the missile launcher and I need another support gunner.

I have some Black Cat miniatures from Pirate set and they are bigger than standard 28mm (is there any 28mm standard?) ...

... they are higher and the head is bigger.

Are Moonfleet Miniatures bigger as BC or scale better with 28mm? Do you have comparison picture?

Hi,

The pirates are heroic 28mm and therefore are bigger that 2true" 28mm, moonfleet miniatures are true 28mm (so 28mm to eye which is "standard") as are our gothic horror figures!

The smoggers we have should all be there now although I will check!

Thanks

Jo
