Okay, these are a few pictures of my latest project (took me about 3 days of work to build and paint). It's supposed to be a lordly manor (hence the title of the thread), which will in time be the centerpiece for a little village I'm putting together. Any comments are welcome, especially any hints as to how I can manage to hide the ball-pen lines on the front. Paint and glue does not seem to do the trick... Anyway, here the pictures.
1. Front view (with proud owner soon to be robbed, but that#S another story)

The carpet is a simple cut out picture from somewhere in the internet (I originally wanted to use it as a flying carpet but here it helps to cover a crack in the floor... Let's hope it doesn't take off during dinner....).

it is really sweet!
if i were in you i wouldn't used a whider base outside the building: now you are forced to put it in a grass field, or a small city!
really nice, really!

Ink sometimes come through water based paint, a real pain! Cover them with gloss paint which when dry can be overpainted with acrylic or whatever. Same principal for when the roof has leaked in your bathroom >:(

Very nice indeed - window tax must be getting pretty exorbitant though or are those decorative arches on the first floor! ;) ;D
Love the interior - we have a similar rug in our sitting room! :D

They are there just for the looks. Inspired by Lord of the Rings online... :D
@ Dozing Dragon: Thanks, will try that.

Nah, the knowledge to make windows that size has been lost so they just bricked them up and burn tallow inside now sooting up all the old murals.
You need more straw/reeds on the floor for an inhabited room...

Pretty cool!
