Hi, last night we played a German - British battle somewhere in North Africa, here's some shot (when the battle did heat up we forgot to take more!).
The DAK team defends the central compound, waiting for the LRDG raid...

The LRD moves in

Some very nicely painted stuff there and the buildings look great.

Thank you, but, to be honest, the figures are armypainter-ed, so my homages go to the chemicals in it alone.

What rules do you use?
Also, any suggestions for scenarios. Seems like most scenarios I run across for NA are generally centered around large armor battles.
Great looking game by the way!

Very sharp, very neat. Love it.
Thank you.

I'm sorry to tell that it's a game we are writing, it should be a "good for all shooting" thing (à la GURPS for 3D wargaming, or à la Flying Lead). However we tried a lot of games and all in all we found Disposeable Heroes (Iron Ivan) the most playable.
For the scenario, we usually focus on two objectives per side, four in total. You place one objective at 6" from your side and one at 24". The opponent does the same. The unit closest to an objective controls it. You get 0 points if you hold your, 1 point for each "mid field" objective, 2 points for the "far" objective. That's it. Forces are 10-30 men per side with a couple of leaders and some special weapons (mostly MGs Flamethrowers, etc). Usually turns out good, lasts 2 hours and gives a lot of fun.
If you like skirmish scenarios you should try "Peiper at the gates", a very nice narrative campaign in the Battle of the Bulge. It's designed by THW for the NUSTS! System, but you can adapt it to any system with a little effort.
Hope it helped.

Great looking shots - the buildings are smart. I think I recognise the Artizan SAS figs ???
No vehilces in the shots - left at the FRV I guess.
I love doing SAS and LRDG vehilces, they sell very well. here is one of my latest (working on Chevies at present).

Cheers. Some beautiful stuff there. I'd better get saving. :-* In your brochure you say 1/60 scale. A lot of my tanks ae in Corgi 1/50. You don't have any pics of your stuff next to anything like that do you?
-
I need to change that slightly. I have checked some real vehicles, such as a Morris Quad for dimensions and the dinky stuff is actually spot on at 1/56 scale, which is 28mm size.
I am working on a Dinky DUKW at present and checking it against working drawings it too is spot on at 1/56.
1/60 is more like the old 25mm.
I use the Corgi stuff as well, jeeps, shermans etc and it blends very well. The jeep in the shot below is Corgi and the rest old Dinky, Lledo etc.
Let me know when you decide.

You're right, I should go for some wheel. Your Jeep is a beauty.

I got an issue of Model Military International this month which has a really in depth article about the compostion of SAS & LRDG jeeps for modellers.
It will make mine that bit more accurate (like taking out the back seat for example)
Incidently, I had a nice piece published in that mag two issues ago - talked about the cross over between modelling and wargaming.
I have a jeep on the bench at present
regards and thanks for the comments
