Does anyone know of a source for interwar period Swiss soldiers, particularly in 28mm? Or barring that any suggestions on ones best suited for conversion?

I think your main problem wil be trying to find a rifle that looks like that strange Schmidt-Rubin straight pull. I knew someone who had one and he let me try it. What an incredibly complicated system but it worked very smoothly.

Thanks for the info mate. I suspect that this will be something of a fruitless search miniaturewise.

Hey we have the same Avatar Pic and im from Switzerland! Are you my missing Brother,is that you Hansueli? :D Just kidding, rock on!

If it wasnt for the headgear I would suggest some WW2 Polish troops - the tunics look similar in cut to me. But the kepi feels very French, while the helmets are rather Germanic. So it would definitely be a head-swap project.

Hmm, perhaps this is the best solution. Anyone want to recommend a decent source of WW2 Polish troops?
Thanks for the help folks.
*EDIT* I found Bolt Action Design's WW2 Poles...I think I'm sorted.

These 28mm Tiger Miniatures Greek Balkan War troops do not have helmets, but the caps look somewhat similiar.
