Title: A .45 Adventure Painting Contest! Now with painted sample 12/1
Post by: Operator5 on 28 October 2010, 05:00:04 PM
We're gearing up for .45 Adventure 2nd edition in a couple of months and we're giving you a chance to start preparing as well.

Until November 15th only, Brigade Games will be selling the first three new miniatures (The Gargoyle III, Bridget II, and our newest character, Emerson P. Baldridge.) for only $10.00. After November 15th, they will come down from the website and not sold again until .45 Adventure 2nd edition is released in December and they will be sold as singles at $4 each.

Other than the incredible savings you get by buying them now and not having to wait until December, if you get them painted up and post an image on the Speakeasy (not here or on your blog) of all three before Jan. 1st, you will have a chance to win a free copy of .45 Adventure 2nd edition.

I will pick a winner from all the people who paint all three figures and post an image. Now, those who paint up additional Rattrap figures to include in their photo or who set up a small vignette with terrain will get an extra entry.

You can only purchase the figures from Brigade Games for this contest and like I said, only through Nov. 15th.

Brigade will have all these figures available at Fall In and will be offering the deal there as well.

Even if you decide not to take part in the contest, BUY the figures now while the price is lower.

It's not like I ask for you to sign anything in blood when you buy them.   lol

Hmmmm, $12.50 shipping for one set of miniatures is too much for my taste IMO. Too bad, would really have liked to buy them!

Maybe an idea: sell them through Miniaturicum.de or miniature-heroes.co.uk for the Europeans. Shipping is much, much better for us from these website when making a small order.

These are more scale-compatible with other 28mm Pulp figure lines (Artizan, Copplestone, Pulp Figures) than the previous tiny versions, correct?

These are Paul Hicks sculpts so they will fit with Murch's stuff and Artizan. It will probably fit with some Copplestone, but Copplestone does tend to be bigger.

And as to a European distributor, the figures may be available through them, but it's up to them to order them. I'm not doing that with these pre-sales because by the time we cast and shipped it all, the date for ordering would be gone. But the German or UK shops are more than welcome to contact Lon at Brigade if they want to carry the figures.

Well, I’ve ordered them… as well as some other Pulp oddities lol

Can we post pictures of the painted figures elsewhere (probably here on LAF) before the "competition" start on the Speakeasy forum?

As long as you post them on The Speakeasy, you can post them anywhere else as well.

And an important announcement!

Monday is the last day to get your orders in for the early release and in order to have them for the painting contest! Don't let this chance slip by now.

And don't forget, you get them for less now than you will in another month.
