Its been ages since I posted anything painted. Between school and work my output is very low of late. I did this guy up as a treat for myself.
I still can't get photography quite right sometimes. Too much sheen in the Foundry mauve....
But anyway, here is an Aegis minis Bug man:

Very nice!
I've been thinking about getting a few of these - how tricky are they to put together, much scope for conversions (to create more variety?)? How do they compare scale-wise next to Foundry/Artizan/Pulp figs?
Thanks :)

I agree, that bugger is definitely a beauty. I would not want to meet him in a dark alley, but from here, I like him. Good work. :)
For some obscure rhythmic reason, I now have Johnny Rivers in my head, singing "Savage Insect Man!" to the melody of his "Secret Agent Man"... ::)

Thanks for the comments guys. He wasn't bad to put together thankfully. I just picked which arms and head I wanted, played around a bit and then glued them in. Some work with blu tac is recommended to find a combination and position for the arms before gluing. With 9 arms in the two figure pack and two different heads I think there is plenty of scope for customization. I just placed him next to a Foundry German and he is bigger for sure but I'll try to do a comparison shot for you tomorrow if I get a chance.
Oh and good one Mephysto, the modified song is firmly stuck in my head now too!

Great work Sky!
Thanks Mephysto, I'll have that stuck in my head all day now. As a kid I thought the lyrics were "Secret Asian Man". For years I wondered why he had to disguise his ethnicity and how he pulled it off. Now I just think of Dr. Jonas Venture senior in Scaramantula's lair.

Really like him, the colours suit him well, nice model to. Nice work, hope you get back to gaming soon.
Thanks for sharing

Great work! I would never have thought of that Foundry Mauve for a Bugman skin tone, but it works so well!
Nice stuff!
