Anyone have any painted examples?
My first figure I have made codex gray cloth with some faint khaki and light green spots that barely show up. The body armor is GW's Granite color (a dark gray). I'm going for an urban camo look and I don't want the pattern on the cloth to overpower the armor which is the main surface of the mini.
I'd like to put a pattern on the armor or at least some really good highlighting and shading to make it interesting but I'm somehow just out of creativity.
Anyone have some images for inspiration?

I went red and white with a CokeTM swish, but that was rather game specific.

Very, very nice. Black edging and the same color for the plates as the cloth. I didn't think of that. I think I can do it with the grays. It keeps the coloring consistent and it also outlines the armor pieces. Great idea.
And solids, not camo. Looks great.
I also like where you put the white marks. I was thinking of white and/or orange (high-visibility) on the gray. I had tried a tan color with blue markings and it didn't look right.
Please keep the examples coming, folks!

Sorry to re-post this but I'm really struggling with getting a good scheme for these guys.
Could anyone else post some of their examples? I've got a half-dozen of these guys and I just can't come up with the right scheme for some reason.
Thanks.

I had the same idea as Froggy. I haven't painted them up yet, but I was going to go blue and white to use as SHIELD stand ins.

Froggy, your minis are just right! Great job!
I sorta copied them...
Here's my WIP test figure. His goggles obviously need work. I'm debating between a bright green vs. grayish. Still not sure. That off-white line is not quite even where it leads into the goggles - looks really obvious in the photo.
I'd love some C&C for this guy! I'd like to get the paint scheme down cold before I apply it to the five other guys.
I know that the goggles and strap for goggles need work.
I'm considering underpainting the white areas with black so that they have some more depth and differentiation from the blue pads they are on.
Does the white need further lightening? I used Dheneb Stone and I like it but perhaps it's too dark? Lacks depth?
Does that last highlighting leave the mini too chalky?
I'd love all of your C&C.

The first picture is not showing up for me. Like you said, the googles need work. I don't know exactly what to do with them. I think they need to be light but not as light as the white. Otherwise I think he looks good.
