Title: Britannia Nebelwerfers
Post by: Gunbird on November 02, 2010, 12:12:58 AM
2 Britannia Nebelwerfers, 1 towed, 1 almost ready to fire. Drilled out all of the barrels and loaded one partially with SHQ Nebelwerfer rounds. Experimenting a bit with bases at the moment, made this so I can fit in a loading crew (got a AB crew in wait for it) that can be removed for casualties or leaving the gun abandoned. Added a front mount with some plastic and a few bits of brass wire.

I tried looking for the mould lines but was distracted by the beautiful painting and attention to detail  ;)

Lovely work :-*
Great detail work as well.
One slight problem is that in the pictures the black at the end of the barrels looks too shinny. May just be the light in the photo?

Looking great! Hadn't thought of using Britannia minis stuff before as I don't like the sculpting style of the figs however the vehicles / artillery look to have promise.

G-Mac; My Matte never dulls fully, and with a light above you can pick up the occasional shimmer.

D-Dragon; They have loads of useful stuff. I don't get too fussed about sculpting styles anymore, I paint them all, and as long as they are not in the same unit I don't mind.
