I started a new thread to post my Left 4 Dead zombies and survivors miniatures, but I should post more pictures later on.
Let's start with Left 4 Dead survivors. Most of the miniatures were converted.

From left to right : Hasslefree, Reaper, Hasslefree, Empress miniatures.

And an alternate Bill and Francis with Reaper Miniatures (I am waiting for the new Zoey Reaper Miniature to use them).

Don't tell me it's Che Guevara with Mad Max, I know ;)

From left to right : Hasslefree, Hasslefree, Foundry, Empress miniatures.

Once again I am waiting for the Ellis Reaper Miniature.
The photos are not really good and I'll try to post better ones later on.
Comments welcome.

I think you've done a great job on these and they are obviously who they are, so good choice on the miniatures themselves too. My only criticism, on what are otherwise great looking figures, is that the first Bill's beret looks too big to me. Whether this is less apparent on the figure in real life and is an effect of them being enlarged by the posting of the photograph, I can't tell.
Despite that small point.... wow! :o

Very Awesome!
-
Nice PJs, have definitely caught the character of them very well
Only reservation is the oversized beret for Bill - makes him look odd - given how good the others look, i'd redo the head (sorry)...and looks like you might have a hair stuck to Ellis' baseball cap ;)
Great job.
-
Very very nice, although I do agree with the others about Bill's beret.
-
Cool 8)

That is sooooo totally AWESOME!!!!!!
Outstanding job, YIU!!!
On Louis - was that Ken with the various badge and patches filed off? And I like that Joe lost his mohawk to become Francis.
I applaud you, sir!
-
Thanks.
You are right, Bill's beret is oversized. The original miniature w<ears a jungle hat. I removed it and used green stuff to sculpt the beret and I am bad at sculpting.
Yep, there is a hair on Ellis cap...I'll take another photo....with a bald Ellis ;)
Ken badges and patches were removed and I added a tie with green stuff. BTW Ken is the only Hasslefrre miniature compatible in size with Reaper miniatures.

Very, very cool. I have a few of these minis, for an as-yet-unrealised zombie apocalypse project, and I'll be getting the rest of them as quickly as I can after seeing what you've done with them. Very nice - love the bases too.
-
Well...
I think the L4D2 crew are very nice indeed, L4D crew are nicely done but again Bill and his rasta beret detract a little.
What's next bud?
The Commander

Great resemblances. Very cook figures!

AMAZING!
-
Great conversions, full of character. Great bases, too. :-*
-
Bases are DS inserts and DS resin full bases from the delightful Fenris Games ICYW.

Yes and they are fantastic for urban games such as zombies games.
-
Fantastic!
-
All of them are immediately recognizable.
Wonderful stuff.

You did a great job, especially with the painting on the L4D2 characters.
SHLIIIIGH!!

I WANNA SEE ZEDSS!!!!!!
great painting style, btw, i love it!
-
Sure I noticed it but you couldn't see it on the miniature because of its arms so I didn't sculpt it.
-
Great figures! :)
-
Really great. I'm just started painting a couple of Pulp Figures minis for Strange Aeons, but THEN I'm going to do some zeds, again.
I hope to do a co-op game of DwA with 2 survivors 1st weekend of December (I'm going to Horisont in Esbjerg last weekend of November, otherwise I would have aimed for that), and then I'll try to get enough zeds painted for a 3 survivor game for demonstration at my nearest gaming club.
In the meantime, my zeds and survivors will be used for Fear & Faith zombie games - that system uses a set amout of points for both sides, even though 'pile-on' is also possible, and thus it's a little easier to plan how many zombies are needed... for DwA I just need to have LOTS lol
