I have heard this line mentioned quite a few times but have never come across it. I have done a few searches on Google but nothing relevant ever comes back. Does anyone know where I could possibly find them or at least pictures of them? Thank you.

Can't say I've ever heard of them....but with a name like that, I can say I'm more than intrigued!

Sounds like the owner of a trailer park........... lol

Someone on TMP suggested that they would be good to use as Wolverines for a Red Dawn scenario, seeing as how I like armed citizens/militia I wanted to check them out.

Hmmm that Wolverine thread was in 2006 so there's a chance that Honest John has ceased trading in that time.
-
That sounds like the label on one of the dumpsters you can spot in the CoZo-Chron.

IIRC 'Honest John' is a fictional company. 'John the OFM' (over on TMP) made it up to market unlikely* figure lines.
I could be wrong on this, but I seem to recall several people searching for 'Honest John' over the years to no avail.
* This seems to be a very individual take on what is unmarketable, as several companies do ranges of rednecks and hillbillies (Blue Moon, Inkermann, Westwind, Copplestone)

That seems like a plausible answer. You'd think with this many 'mini' fanatics, someone would have been all over this if it were true.

Does this mean that "John the OFM" is secretly Damon Albarn, who runs a specialist record label called "Honest John's"?
