I got the two Devlin Waugh 2000ad trades from the Mongoose closeout sale this week.
Being the mental butterfly that I am, the obvious question for me was "who makes a mini that would do as Devlin?"
The character is quite distinctive, an aesthete psychic investigator, built like Schwarzenegger, face like Terry-Thomas with the debauched wit of Oscar Wilde.

Would be looking for something in "large 28mm" to fit with Foundry/Mongoose Judges. I'm not averse to minor modification, head swaps etc, but any serious reculpting is a no-no.
Can anybody point me in a suitable direction?
Much obliged.

I dont know of any minis with the wit of Oscar Wilde ;D

This chap may do for the face, not sure if the Hat would be a pain to remove: http://artizandesigns.com/prod.php?prod=1177
While a root through the em4 Barbarians for a torso: http://www.em4miniatures.com/acatalog/Infantry.html
Or maybe someone has a spare Warhammer 'roids man, like a Jungle Fighter or a Chaos Geezer for the body.

Hmmm, maybe.... I think I may have to gs a tache on another head though. Might be an easier option.

There's always one, isn't there? ;)

This might work:

Strongman from WestWind.
Would need to chop him across the waist and put new legs on him... Any idea where I could get some that would fit?

That one does like a good fit. As for the legs, maybe Hasslefree's Grant?

Although those might look a tad bit too modern.
If you're prepared to do some minor sculpting, maybe "Mustafa Ramirez" from the Golgo Island range?

I'd use a GW chaos marauder body, with a head swap of an empire militia or empire pistoler. pop into http://stores.ebay.com/Hoard-O-Bits and search for what you need. Send an email to the guy and tell him you only want one. I'd think you should be able to get all the bits for about $3 bucks including shipping (USA). I think there is an international bits seller too?

Please remember I am a Games Workshop junkie.... so it's about all I have extensive knowledge of miniature wise...

And it also seems I can't figure out how to insert pictures... hmmm....

that's because you're not directly linking to the image file bud.
