I've been mucking about with various images in Photoshop for far too long tonight but the result is this;

Well not that, because that's just a lo-res thumbnail, and you can grab and print that if you want but wander over to my humble blog @ http://6milphil.wordpress.com/2010/11/21/bill-posters-is-innocent/ you can help yourself to a hi-res version of that and print it out for your own use as much as you want.
Enjoy!

Thanks for that................ ;)

Happy to help, chums!

Me too, just downloaded it, looking like it might be very useful, cheers!

Those are fantastic. And unintentionally funny, some of them, too. I love the Monkey Devil of Socialism, and Conservatism saving "SS Britain" (hilarious in hindsight, that).
Though the Bovril ad seems to me to clearly be a WWII piece of advertising, rather than something of the VBCW era (though it is very cool).

Very likely, I do have a WW1 Bovril advert but it's not neat enough for printing, it shows a bull going to sign up with a recruiting sgt. set up in the doorway of a barn... actually I could just post it than try to describe it... as you can see it's a photo of a rough print...
