Title: What I Painted In November 2010
Post by: Wirelizard on 30 November 2010, 09:18:31 PM
Second month in a row I get to create the topic? Either I'm lucky, or the rest of you lot are getting lazy...  :D

At least this month I have pictures!

(http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5084/5221406545_e50f4327d3_b.jpg) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/wirelizard/5221406545/)
November 2010's Painting (http://www.flickr.com/photos/wirelizard/5221406545/) by WireLizard (http://www.flickr.com/people/wirelizard/), on Flickr

From the top:
Pulp Figures "Count Casimir", renegade White Russian General.
Pulp Figures Street Cops.
Pulp Figures gangsters.
Blue Moon gangsters.

I am NOT impressed with Blue Moon. Awkward proportions, sloppy casting, frankly uninspired and uninspiring all around. Pulp Figures are a delight as always, and I really, really like the Count Casimir pack, especially the Count himself. His uniform is loosely inspired by pre-Revolution Russian Imperial Army uniforms, and partly by the "Colourful" regiments of the RCW.

We've still got 100 minutes of November!  ;D

(as a sidenote, washes take far too long to dry. Much longer, and the minis I'm currently painting are going into December's post...)

Edit: proof is in the pudding -

Zombies that were painted right at the start of the month since I was disappointed at how little I'd painted the previous month:

And thus, painted tonight, are two packs from Uncle Mike's Strange Aeons, painted for the 2010 brush-off (unfortunately the miniatures only arrived yesterday, a day before the deadline...)

No, just didn't want to have to move ninety of the buggers on single bases. They will probably die quick enough to remove in fours anyway ;D All the standards and the odd man out are on singles and all my other non OG Boxers too so it shouldn't be a problem (hopefully)

Awesome farm Dolmot!
and really fun viking wound markers!

Sadly I only painted my egypt scenery (not a big deal on terms of panting) and started to paint only a few minis but nothing finished yet :-(

The Crew have not received their first mission yet. They are still waiting for the support crew before they can get the ship out of dry dock.  ;)

Gorgeous! You've convinced me for the necessity for several of those minis

Steve F, loving the Who project. Well done
