Title: Company B: 1/56 Stryker MGS
Post by: CompanyB on 06 December 2010, 08:14:16 AM
Just about complete on this.  I went a little bonkers this weekend after cutting out the curved add-on armor, and 200+ bolts...  But it's finally coming together.

Just need to build out the turret hatches, periscope sights, and retractible imaging system.  That can be built deployed, or retracted.

This model will also come with a couple of crew options, which are being started soon, along with a command variant upgrade and some crew/infantry for the original Stryker.

I should have the master complete in about a week, and then it's off to JTFM for casting by the start of the new year.  I'd like to do a couple more modern kits to follow this up with...not sure what that will be yet though.  I have a few requests for some Russian kit, and still need to finish off the details on the GAZ vodnik.

That's an exceedingly nice model.

Any chance of an AAV 7A1 ( minus the bolt on armour kit) There was some very nice footage of them being used in Rio last week. Now I don't have any real use for one but I'd dearly love one  if only cos the Fuzileiros Navais camo scheme is just so sexy.

Hmmm, an LVTP...  not to make too many promises.  But that model would bring our selection of kits full circle!  From the WW2 Marine Amtracks, and into the modern era...

I'll have to seriously consider that.

A BTR-152 would be even more wonderful, especially as nobody makes one apart from the appropriately named HAD ( as in you've been HAD). I'll take three of four of those. I suspect Lon at Brigade Games would be happy to see some rides for the Russians in his 1950s Americana range.

You know this one might also have some use in more Sci-fi settings, considerings its quite modern look.
