Very swell! I especially like the grit and battle damage on his shield.

Great looking mini.
-
A perfect figure - beautifully painted.
Well Done.

Love it! Used this one for my young Arthur, and the Salute mini for Camlann era. Nicely done!

WOW!!! Even better than your 'Merlin' figure! I have converted two versions of this model (have added a helmeted head) for my WAB Romano-British/British Kingdoms army - it's a lovely model and your painting is brilliant, especially the shield and cloak. Please keep posting as you do more models and if you want to see some of my Arthurians, let me know and I'll post some pics. You'll find some on my blog in the archive if you care to look there, but am happy to display a few here.
I am also trying to draft a set of Arthurian skirmish rules (same sort of scale as GW's Lord of the Rings, so about 30-60 models per side) at the moment, which is proving interesting, as it's the first time I've tried something like that...

May be "brushhero" would be a better name Andy? Your whole stuff is gorgeous! Are all the banners handpainted?
-
Thank you! Yes, all banners handpainted - as are all shield designs (apart from my Republican Romans and Caesarian Romans...)
Here's one of my versions of the model you painted - I don't think he's on the blog...

I agree with Lt. H! Great blog. And I really like your version as well!
