Well I have a sample of Mice from Splintered Light, Eureka USA, and Reaper.
After the miniatures are dried to the bases I will try and get them shot with camera so people can compare them. Stylistically different but in a fantasy game (not the same as swords, John, the OFM) I don't think the size/style differences would be a killer.
Gracias,
Glenn

Is the glue dry?

Mice as in little rodents?

@Doomhippie
They are indeed. Part of the Druids Children range and very very nice:

The full range can be seen here http://www.splinteredlightminis.com/druidschildren.html (http://www.splinteredlightminis.com/druidschildren.html) (scroll down a little) and the opposition is http://www.splinteredlightminis.com/rebels.html (http://www.splinteredlightminis.com/rebels.html)
The rules for skirmish level games come complete with background and scenarios and are based on SBH. Called 'Song of the Splintered Lands' I cannot find it on the SL website but it is here http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=62937?affiliate_id=241869 (http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=62937?affiliate_id=241869)

I have pictures but how do I post them?
Gracias,
Glenn

Upload the picture to an online host (I normally use photobucket).
You can then copy the link to the picture and insert it here. Either link to the picture or use the image [IMG] option.
Boy'o'boy those are nice miniatures. Otters, badgers, mice, hedgehogs... just love them. makes me want to know about the universe, rules and buy the miniatures.
Oh dear...

What size are they? I'm guessing 25mm, but since most of their other stuff is 15mm I have my doubts.
Duncan

They are "25mm"
-
Are you sure?
It says 13-18mm on the Warband package illustration...
That would be amazing detail for such small miniatures.
Just bought Songs of Blades and Heroes... Now I simply have to get The Splintered Lands too... oh dear... ;)

Well you are right (10-18mm)… It's just that I've read somewhere that they were scaled as to represent the small size of an animal beside a "25mm" human… I don’t know if I explain it well though… lol
-
Ah I see.
Looking at the price of the Minotaurs that makes good sense.

Really nice figures indeed.
As a side note, is Flickr is always in French?
-
Wow they are very small!
Duncan

...but cute. Awwwww [making purring sounds].

Thanks for the photos
You have saved me some money as there is no way I would mix those sets up :)

I couldn't resist, so I ordered the start box of Druids Children and a Squirrel Command...
Asolutely love them and the rules for Songs of the Splintered Lands seems quite interesting too.

Uh, never, for me...
Though they do introduce greetings in various languages when you sign in - Serbian last time IIRC.

I will try and post the photobucket account link for those who prefer that sometime this week.

The lance and laser quactica range also had some great mouse figures. Might be worth getting a few to compare the scale (so that I don't have to risk it. ;) ) Website says they are approximately 20mm to the top of their head.

Empire soldier for scale.

Will the pumpkins be:
Housing?
Food supply?
Defensive Terrain?
All of the above?
Some of the above?
Gracias,

Mainly housing.
Got the idea from Splintered Lights Miniatures:

Jaeger,
Thanks for the order. Hopefully, the figures will get to you soon and you will enjoy them. I have certainly loved painting up the ones I have done for myself.
The Splintered Lands figures by Bob Olley were initially intended to be 15mm but really work better as 20mm figures. The Druid's Children figures, however, will work as 25/28mm figures. I have taken a picture of the mouse figures with a GW Legolas figures and he makes a great Reepicheep, for example.
They are short but bulk-wise work with the larger size figures.

Thanks for the info.
I posted my initial order on a danish forum and people got all excited, so there will be dwarfs, goblins, beasts and druids children crossing the atlantic by now. :)
I also look forward to the new book for Songs of the Splintered Lands comming out in 2011. I really want some racoons, frogs and turtles which should be described in that book.
