The Artizan Christmas Figures of recent years. Was hoping for more from the novel, but Mike just stopped. :-[

So will we classify this as your plaid period, or just plaid Scrooge period? lol Great work as always with a lot of interesting textures in both Scrooge and Bob and Tiny Tim

:) No Lon, just one of my favourite stories. And I hope they put the Alastair Sim movie version on the TV – missed it last year. :?

The Alastair Sim version is the best. I bought it on disc some time ago and break it out every Christmas.

Lovely stuff :-*
I can't decide which is my favourite. I especially like the plaid, but the ghost is really nice too. :)
-
The ghost looks especially :-* but all are very nicely done :-*

I will tell my girlfriend of your fondness for the Alistair Sims' version; she'll be delighted with the validation. :D
Well done, indeed, but the three spirits ARE needed. The shade that is Xmas future isn't hard to proxy, though.
Likewise, most of the rest, from Crachets family to the rag merchants should be easy enough.
Funny, perhaps not from Artisans, but I have a recollection of small boy with a large goose...
Perhaps others have suggestions? Not saying you'll want to do the WHOLE thing, but a pleasant thought exercise.

Smashing work. The cartoon film was on the other day. I'm a big fan of the books and your painting has done those lovely miniatures justice. Great work!

Don`t forget The Muppets Christmas Carol. It`s a hoot. It`s got Michael Caine in it too. Not many people know that!

Thread necromancy!
However, just wanted to find what probably everyone BUT me knew...

Great paintjobs, particularly the plaid pattern!

The plaid freeks me out! o_o
Some real nice brush control there, mate. :-*

I would love to paint some more suitable figures, but don't actually like these sculpts. ::)
Glad you like the plaid. :)

Yes, yes, everyone loves the plaid... lol
Well done well deserved.
As for the Foundry, they are a bit stiff, but they are ghosts. Oh, wait a min... ;->=
Still, Xmas Present would be a difficult one to proxy.

A great set of beautifully painted figures - very well done. I think my favourite is Marley's Ghost.

Love the Marly figure and Alistair Sims' version is by far the best I even named My dog Alistair as I got him the day the movie was on. :)
