Ronnie Corbett in the pith helmet?

Nope, they are based on these chaps (or maybe you are bing ironic?):

Don Estelle as Gunner 'Lofty' Sugden and Windsor Davies as Battery Sergeant Major Tudor Brynne 'Shut Up' Williams in the 1970s British sitcom It Ain't Half Hot Mum.

Paul Hicks is sculpting all these great minis, seemingly based on British televisionry, of which I am ignorant, but the minis are full of character so I see myself buying plenty more of them.  :)

Hammers that photo has been reversed... Damn Lardy-da BBC :o

You can catch some of this on youtube;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXP05QenlUw (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXP05QenlUw)

It's written by the same blokes behind Dad's Army and Allo Allo, although I never did enjoy the latter as much as the other two.

Of course you do need to know of their existance if you want to search for them...

More top figs from the maestro of miniatures though...

Right, sorry. I was referring to the pic of the  minis which wasn't very smart of me.
