Title: Patrol vessel P3455
Post by: voltan on 26 December 2010, 10:46:23 PM
I finally got to a level of paintedness with this project that people may or may not remember (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=22130.0), anyway I've not named it yet as the name I was going to use has a bit of bad history. So on too the pictures.

That's a very nice boat and the Bofors is a lovely piece in and of itself.

I think you were right not to name her HMS Scharnhorst, it's never been an especially lucky name. :D

I was thinking of HMS Ullswater ( one of the local big wet things) till I found out one of the previous holders of that name went down with all but 3 hands.
