Title: Kneemo's Mech Walkers, Rivets and Smokestack added
Post by: Alfrik on 28 December 2010, 04:22:38 AM
Saw a star wars mini figure of a 2 man walker and fired off an order. All they needed was a simple head swap from ape men to Pith helmeted humans and some repainting.. which, of course considering the poster, needs painting yet :)

walker on the right is the original heads, the one on the left have the pith helmets in place, figures are a good match to 28mm figures.
And there you have it.

I saw these some time ago and didn't think much of them. They look great though! Simple conversion as well...

The best kind in my opinion!!!  :)

Aha! Picked one of these up at a charity shop a while back, sorry Chairface no idea what they are called.

Nice conversion Alfrik. I was thinking of adding a gun in place of the handlebars for the rear crew member along with a smoke stack on the back along with......... wait for it.............. rivets!

The walkers are properly called Uggernaut #58 The Force Unleashed Star Wars Miniatures and run around 3.50$ though with shopping etc probably get them for a bit less.

Good find!

Easy, fast, good looking walkers.

I'm doing something similar at the moment but it will be awhile before I unleash it on everybody...  o_o
