Anpu (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=24839.0) and I talked on another board, and he asked if I would make a 28mm version of my larger Nuka Cola machine. Well, here it is. I did a quick cast of it this morning, but got too excited, and didn't let it set. So I hope to have a clean cast to show this weekend.

That's looking like it is coming along nicely :)

It is all your fault you know. Now if I can just get my hands on some screenshots of the Sunset Machine, I would have a nice pair.

I'll see if I can help with that :)

Sweetness! Perfect spot is the big NCR camp, there are many all over the place. If you look at the two, they are almost the same. Upper half is the same, but once you hit the door is where things change.

Sunset Sarsaparilla Machine has been crafted. Mold is drying as we speak. Already pulled a 2nd cast of the Nuka Cola. Doesn't look too bad. Doing one more cast and hoping all the clay comes out this time. If the wife lets me, I should cast and pics off both of them in a day or so.

Nice :D

Beautiful work here.

Thank you. I'm trying a new way to cast, and I'm hitting a few air bubbles in key spots. But its not what I didn't expect. So I'm going to try to mix the old with the new. Got a good cast of the Nuka Machine, now seeing about the Sunset one. Once I get a good cast, I'll paint and show. I'm going to take the couple of bad ones and make them "damaged" I think. Waist not want not. =)

for me it's a little small.
here is a screen that I took for you

but good job.

Yes, I was thinking that the one in the background of the OP photo was more the right size... but I'd imagine it to be expensive if solid cast.

Wow. That was the one thing I never did. Actually stand next to it and look! I based it on the V110 classic coke machine. It stands about 6ft tall. Well, I guess its back to the drawing board. Any reason to play with clay! Hehehe.
You know, looking at the Nuka machine, I think they have them too big. Because in my old soda machine the door opening for the bottles was not much larger then the bottle itself. But those look huge. Either way I will make a bigger one.

The other one in the background is over 3 inches tall btw. =P But it is party hollow so I can run the lights, but that is a later project.
And here is the update:

I had to do the size correction. These are much much more accurate, at least in size. 40mm+ tall! And I think they came out wonderful.
And tomorrow I will do a few casts and see what I get.

Very nice, an improvement over the previous ones both in detail and size :)

Making them bigger did help a lot on detail.

looking good, are you planning on making these available?

Those are more like it. :D

If there is enough intrest in them, then I would. Not sure on price point and all that. Right now I only cold cast in resign.
