I am trying to make Hasslefree's Alyx with her teddy bear and magic wand. She looks A LOT like my 3 year-old when configured like this. It's really cute (if I say so myself) - she always walks around with her bunny (not exactly a bear but close enough) and likes to say, "Alacazam, Shazam!" and turn me into her prince. She never turns me into a frog, though. Maybe I am one already? (I love being a dad, but I digress...).
I have Alyx standing on top of a custom base that includes some cracked shale and a wooden beam upon which she is standing. There's a little space in front of here where I figured I'd put some object. The positioning is perfect for her to be casting a spell over some object.
The question is, what is a good bit for that object? Anyone have an idea?
I have a teddy bear with a ball-gag (!) from Black Scorpion's waitress. Would be nice but that ball-gag is not quite right for this mini.
I have some resin clay jars that might do.
But does anyone have any other ideas? Please help me brainstorm.
Thanks!

Go to a craft store and see if you can find a little frog charm in the beading section.

The GW plastic Bretonnian Command sprue contains a tiny snail which might be a suitable candidate for transformation. (It also contains a handy treestump for raising the snail off the ground and making it easier to see):

Here's the WIP.
Note the frog, the mini standing on a piece of wood, and the totally crap paint job thus far.
I've only done some of the base coat. There's still a long way to go.
I figure red for the shoes (like Converse or Doc Martin). Shirt gets white over the Stone base coat.
Pupil in the eye is too large, needs fixing or repainting. Anyone have a better idea for the color of the coat and/or skirt?
Next time I'll use a larger base - this one is too small for the frog and the girl.
Comments and criticism, please.

Maybe go with one of the Hogarts house colors for her clothing.

Still having creativity-block.
Please, advice desired. Especially for:
- cleaning up her shirt
- lightening her skirt
- adding depth to the jacket
- her stuffed bear
(I know the back of her hair has a brown spot - that's layer 1 in covering up some overbrushing from the jacket).
Also, ideas for increasing the contrast between the green frog and the gray tiles.
C&C much appreciated! Thanks!
