Nifty. I donīt know next to nothing about those Marvel superheroes, so what is the story? Armsdealer-Saulus-cum-Paulus kidnapped by Arab terrorists and cathartically-sobered by that becomes a super hero using a powered armour suit of his own device constructed in a dark and dirty cave?!?

Aha.

But that suit is cool. Very cool.

Reminds me of that "Spiderman" song, recently parodied in the Simpsons Movie... fits the tune perfectly!

"Spinnenmann, Spinnenmann, tut, was nur die Spinne kann..."

I was looking on the Iron Man site for ages to get the 1st look on the trailer, but the Prof beat me...

Anyway - after watching the trailer I am hooked.
Iron Man is such a cool character with lot's of depth. A drunk, a womanizer, an arrogant inventor and a hugely succesful Industrial.
Just my kind of hero!

The best twist so far in my opinion he gets in the Ultimate Iron Man  Comic version (Ultimate Iron Man: #1-5 (Mar. 2005 - Dec. 2005) ).

The hints in the movie tariler are very promising. And I have to agree - Black Sabbaths Iron Man song just FITS!

Time to dig out my 3 Iron Man minis and paint them up!

They rewrote it as this instead of "Spider-pig"?

So the song was a reference to Homer in this case?

No, no, thatīs just a quick German translation, because that "I am Ironman, fly around with jets I can" fits that music perfectly... popped around in my mind. In the movie (which I havenīt seen yet!), itīs that cuuuute little pig theme.

That silly Spiderman song fits Iron Man perfectly. Does what ever an Iron can, indeed? What, press a nice sharp crease in your trousers for you?

Anyway, my favourite superhero is this one:

Just an ordinary, mild-mannered British tennis pro, until bitten by a radioactive hen, and then he became:

HENMAN! HENMAN!
DOES WHATEVER A HEN CAN!

See his amazing, hen-like powers! Watch as he almost, but not quite flies; sits on eggs without breaking them; and runs around the farmyard in a blind panic at the slightest loud noise!

Coming soon, only in theaters.

Robert Downey Jr is a perfect casting for Ironman's Tony Stark, (recovering alcoholic). The trailer's great, can't wait time this one comes out, (anything's better than FF: rise of the silver surfer!

;)

What was wrong with FF2?  :?:
I liked it.

But I have to agree that Iron Man looks even better!

Best theme song imaginable! But I always wondered where he keeps all that cerosine in his suit...

Im not a great  Ironman fan but...
I think the original Tony Stark dont use a hammer and an anvil to add nanotechnology in his armor....

Well, perhaps now is a dwarven warsmith, not a multimillionary scientific playboy

Hmm, somehow I have a gut feeling that the Ironman Armour made in captivity is NOT sooo full of nanotech...

True - as one of the old time fans I would have liked to see a huge classic Galactus stepping out of a funky starship more.
However IMO the cloud interpretation is more up to date.

Best version so far is the Ultimate Galactus IMO.

I suppose it's a good way of bringing the Mark One armour into the film, linking with the source material, and once back at the lab and free from the terrorists, allowing stark to develop more sophisticated suits.

I like the concept myself, can't wait for the film.
