Title: Looking for 25mm german miniatures (late war, not greatcoats)
Post by: Commander Vyper on 22 January 2011, 09:33:59 PM

Trying to find some nicely proportioned and well sculpted 25mm Jerrys for a bit of a conversion job. Ideally Herr, SS and tankers. Again not 28mm or heroic but good old fashioned 25mm but well sculpted.

Any help gratefully received.

The Commander

You want to make SW imperial troops out of them, don't you?  ;)

Not quite Germans, but if they are for what I think they are, these two figures from Brigade Games fit nicely with WEG minis and look a bit like female imperial officers. The one on the left has an eyepatch à la Angelina Jolie in the sky captain movie:

Oh btw, I once saw a photo of the valiant "20mm" hard plastic WW2 figures next to a WEG 25mm and they were about the same size, so for converison fodder, you can't do better then plastic.

The best source for true 25mm DAK is the Battle Honors manufacturer : http://oldglory15s.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=1_221_222_223_224&sort=3a (http://oldglory15s.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=1_221_222_223_224&sort=3a)  ;)

West Winds old Berlin or Bust range is 25mm.

All Berlin or Bust vehicles are also 1:60 scale which are perfectly suited for 25mm miniatures.

The "Separate Head System" (SHS) Berlin or Bust are 28mm
