Come along & say hello. :D
-
Hope to be there after church.
-
Its official I will be coming along with Mr Bibbly. We anticipate seeing Thundercheeks there too. Looking forward to it :)
-
Going to be there for at least a little bit this year!
Haven't missed it for the past few years, I considered it a must do!
For anyone not sure it is always a fantastic little event, and it punches way above its weight! It seems to always feel quite intimate and still has so much totally awesome stuff on show. If you can get there even for a hour or two it is well worth it!
And after all that gushing, just so you know I am not an organiser just a fan, in case you were wondering!
:)
-
I'll be there with a ninja and samurai game plus 2 Hour Wargames' (and mine) new football game called, 'The Beautiful Game' for people to have a bash at.
Fine show ...
-
I'll be glad to see familiar and new faces on the day. :)
Latest trader added is Crooked Dice who will also be running a DWMG game (Dr Who). 8)
-
I plan to be there too, got a few things to pick up.
-
Why do all the good shows have to be so far south. :'(
Have a good one guys.
-
Have a great show this weekend guys. Hopefully I'll be there next year with another demo.
-
Bah, I'd love to come but my weekend's already booked up. Maybe next year, eh?

Looks great, as usual Karl.
Is the crane off of the oil rig?
Any chance of a close up shot of the green portacabins (i've got to make some myself, and could do with ideas).
:)
-
Ta Akky.
This album has a few close-ups:

And yep - the rig all modular, so that's the Derrick off the top :)

Looking forward to seeing this on sunday :)

Me too!

Cheers gents! I cobbled it together at speed, as I wanted to repay Paul and Ross for all their Crooked help!
I hope it meets up to expectations :)

BTW - speak to Darren over at Black Knight as he made these ages ago for me. I'm sure he'd be willing to share, but they are a fairly simple foamcard core with plasticard cladding design.

Many thanks to everyone that attended Overlord as a trader, game provider or visitor. I hope you had an enjoyable day. I managed to speak to a few forum members, but I'm sorry if I missed you.
The charity raffle in aid of the Cardiomyopathy Association raised a total of £171.
Thank you for your support. 8)

Didn't really expect that, and neither did the wife!!

-
Hee hee I saw you running off with it at the end with that sort of:
"Oh xxxx I could be in trouble now" look on your face ...
That baby was BIG!

Yeah, that will be the one, back of the bring and buy, massive!
Hoping to clean it up and mod it as a center piece for fantasy battles and skirmish games, storage will be a giggle! But the wife was reasonably understanding, and only made me spend one night in it! :D ;)
When I get on to it I will obviously post the progress on the LAF. Or it will end up back on the bring and buy stall at overlord 2014!
Great show again this year as always!
-
Had a really good time at the show, even managed to win the 10mm fantasy game the club put on!
Only bought a couple of second hand west wind gothic horror bits and some dice (which after being broken in seemed to do pretty well).
Looking forward to next year.
-
We had a great time (thanks for the kind comments Nick) and I'm glad you got a few quid from the auction.
I posted a few pics of the game here:

A massive thank you to Paul and Ross (and the whole lovely Abdingdon club) for their hard work in organising and support on the day.
-
Overlord is virtually unique in that Traders get help taking stuff out after the show as well as bringing it in which is much appreciated.
A good show.
Doug

Great show and great fun.
A special thanks to the club members who helped us take everything in and then helped us take it all out at the end of the day.
Excellent service and by far the best of any show we know. Many thanks. :-*
