Title: London Strange Aeon players
Post by: doomtube on 26 January 2011, 11:55:56 AM
hello everyone! I just discovered the Strange Aeons game site last night. I have a whole bunch of Cthulhu figures painted up and am just wondering if this game is played anywhere in London? I am thinking about getting the rules from Mike but would like to play a game or two first. I know this is a long shot but you never know. I am at present running a 'Call of Cathulhu' game at the 'dragons on the hill' club most Mondays if anyone knows of it...?

Anyway just aort of testing the waters! ...

certainly is! which club is it? I'd be very interested to come along and have a game some time, are there many players of 'Strange Aeons?'. I have no experience what so ever in table top games or skirmish games although have been painting and collecting the figures for while. Having looked at the quick start rules a little I imagine getting a grasp on the thing isn't to difficult.
Anyway cheers for the response and hopefully see you at the club in the not to distant future.

the club is called 'legion' it's at basement, 67 Lakeside  road, shepherds bush, W12

we meet weds from about 6.30. We have a rotating schedule alternating between roleplaying and tabletop gaming. At the moment the only SA player there is me, but i'm hoping to convert others and any one is welcome to come and join in.

Let me know nearer the time so we can arrange a game and i'll be more than happy to show you the rules. I have plenty of painted figures to use too, so you wouldn't need to bring any unless you want to.

Thanks very much for tbe good wishes guys, appreciated.

Barry, certainly will do and you will be very welcome at the
Club once i'm back and mobile.

Uncle Mike, currently cant even paint as the leg has to be elevated
Above hip level for 2 weeks so i cant get to my painting desk or
Even paint on a lap tray :-(

The time is passing extremely slowly at the moment, despite
The amount of reading and dvd's im getting through!

If somebody wants to run a SA demo game, then I'm sure Clapham Wargamers could rustle up a few players.
