Anigrand Craftswork make a resin kit in 1/144 scale...

Also, Revell once did a kit of the "Orljonok" A-90 design. Also 1/144 scale, but injection plastic and cheaper.

Incredible photos.
What a beast that thing is.
I also thought the area around the plane/ship looked very post apocalyptic.
Thanks

Sweet plane, shame only one was ever built. This would be an awesome prop/objective/vehicle/base in a Zombie game, the survivors are traveling around in it via the water ways, and when needed the air, looking for a secure place to live. The wiki about this plane says that there were plans on building additional ones and development of one for use as a mobile hospital was started and reached 90% before being scrapped. If my scratchbuilding-Fu was more up to the task I might try and build one of these set up as a Mobile Hospital for my survivors to use in my ATZ games, with the idea that they are looking for other survivors and providing medical attention as needed, helping rebuild civilization where they can along the Great Lakes and the coasts of the World. Of course they will have to limit their flights due to fuel scarcity, unless they use bio-diesel as the fuel.

I think, strictly speaking, that it is classified as a boat.

Hammers, doh, I just discovered that with some additional research, it is a Ground Effect Vehicle, which by the International Maritime Organization makes it a ship, not a plane, and the maximum height it achieved in flight was only about 5m (16ft). Should have read more of the wiki before I posted, LOL. Still this would be a sweet Post Apocalypse/Zompocalypse vehicle/base of operations for those who live in a coastal area or even the Great Lakes Region here in the US/Canada (hehe, which would be me, and also where my ATZ campaigns are set since I am familiar with the area being from Michigan, USA).

Unfortunately the kit is £94 otherwise I would've got one :(

E.D.
great idea for the Zombie scenario though

Great pictures of a great subject.
As far as classification goes, I believe you should call it a ground effect vehicle. Since it doesn't really fly and it doesn't really sail, I don't know how to classify it better than GEV (though, come to think of it, WHO CARES? IT LOOKS GREAT!).
Yours truly,
Sir Dryden
