Please.
someone could suggest to me some informations on how to build in the 28 mm scale, the giants flower-trees seen on the planet Felucia in episode 3 of the Star Wars saga?
Many thanks for the help I can give me.

Perhaps you should search these boards for Martian and/or Venusian plants?
Alfrik did some very nice stuff here (http://armoredink.blogspot.com/search/label/Venus) (scroll down a bit!). He was kind enough to post some "how-to-make-your-own" tutorials as well I think...
Also Matakishi (http://www.matakishi.com/alienworld.htm) has some good stuff and tutorials too.

What about just using fake flowers? Perhaps thickening their stems into trunks.

I am looking for the same type of flowers and I think the best option is plastic flowers. You could also have a look at fishtank plants in petshops.

Thank you all for the replies.
Fortunately for me, in the meantime, I managed to find at a local flower shop some artificial flowers (in cloth) which seemed to me just about the same of those of the planet Felucia (Star Wars - Episode 3).
I began working to transform the flowers in alien plants and when I finish, I will post here the pictures of the various making phases.
To answer to Major Gilbear: no, I don't use the models of these plants for martian or vesuvian scenarios, but for a scenario based on the planet Felucia of the Star Wars saga, for which I will use the 28 mm miniatures of the Wizards of the Coast, of the Star Wars serie.
