I'll be going - having a bit of withdrawal symptoms after skipping Recon and the other shows being too far to reach by train. Looking much forward to it - last year was very nice.
-
Me and JB Senior will be making our annual pilgrimage.
Hope the show's a success for you, I will try and say hello if I get the chance. :)
-
Me too
-
Got quite a few new items that will be going on sale at the show.
The next set of Kev Adams Goblins,Squid headed cultists,Sea demons and more.
I think the last show I saw you at Chris was Fiasco.
It was my first time at the York show last year as a buyer.I was really impressed with the size of the show, the amount of traders and games on.
The best thing for me at the show's is finding out what people think of the miniatures.Seeing new miniatures in the flesh is always better than on the web site's.

Will see you all there.

Yep I will be there, going along with Paleskin :D may have some figures to off load so if I have time will put some up on the tables.
-
I'll be there, love Vapnartak.
-
Phil and I are going to be there ~ while Mrs Phil and Mrs I are shopping ~ we missed last year's show, always a good effort this one we think. :)
-
Definitely be there this year in the afternoon - hopefully there'll be some gobbos left by the time I get there! >:D
-
I will be there in the morning :D
-
I'll be there for certain- one of the best shows in the UK IMHO. 8)

Damn, didn't notice this thread :o
Yes, I'll be there, I only live 30-odd miles away.
I won't be trading, as we don't do that yet, maybe when the range gets bigger...
Of course, I won't recognise anyone so if you manage to spot me, please say hello. :)
Here's one of me at The Tower of London last summer:

The beard has gone a bit more into winter mode, and, oh yes, I'll be dressed in a slightly more modern stylee, oh, and, won't be being followed by an ensign, drummer, or loads of musketeers and pikemen lol

Hasslefree announced on Frothers this morning that they will not be attending now, due to illness.
Can't be helped, but is disappointing. I had a list...
Hope they're better soon, anyway.
-
Hoping to get there, supposed to be seeing various traders about the Scarborough show this summer.
-
Just got back, seemed like a few traders were missing this year, but still busy and a good show as ever.
Bought hardly anything I went for, but several things that I didn't know I wanted.
Good job by the organisers with the charity dice thing for Help For Heroes, had raised £500 by about 1.00.
Said hello to Manic Miner and Paleskin off of the Frothers, but didn't spot anyone else around. Were you all hiding?

Really sorry I missed you - came in around 12h00, and left by 14h00, having looked around but seemed to have missed you (true shame). To my "defense", I had brought a friend who wanted to see a wargames show (and apparently was quite impressed), and since we had a museum visit lined up after that (unfortunately, it turned out to be closed before the 1st of April, gnah!), we left after I ran my errands and got some stuff for myself.
Happily met the Fastolfrian Trinity, Manic Miner and Ignatieff, but will admit that I was a bit "on the run" today.
I'll agree on the trader issue - overall, it seemed to have been a bit more "airy" than last year.
-
was there from 10-12 with my 7 year old son in tow, so two hours is about his maximum.
lol
-
My travelling companion bailed so I decided to save my pennies for Hammerhead next weekend instead,
-
Well I was there spent more than expected but picked up a few bargains. Really enjoyed the day.
-
Had a great day at the show and got to meet more forum members.Kept a few chatting about other things planned and what they would like to see. Thanks to all that popped over.
Got a few 2000AD Foundry figures and a pack of Perry Samurai from Dave Thomas. My spending has really calmed down.
Looking forward to Hammerhead next weekend.
-
Couldn't get there, alas. So I stayed home and painted Mrs Poggit instead.
That isn't a euphemism, by the way.
-
Great show - was very pleased to make manic_miner's acquaintance (properly this time!) - got some great new minis and some great old ones too!
Even managed to give the wife some change when I got home so brownie points to me! :D
-
Really sorry I missed you
Don't worry about it mate, there were that many people there I think I possibly walked past a few that I know while trying to avoid the many, many backpacks and socially inadequate, hygenically challenged community.
I'm glad your friend enjoyed it though. :)
-
Sold shed loads, the rent a table is fantastic idea flogged three armies so was ££££`s in and it only cost £2, missed most but saw Steders and Hetz.
And....only Spent £5 on a pack of Westwind Gothic horror figures !!!!!!!!!
-
"painted Mrs Poggit".. lol lol
It should be though...might have to use that soon!I'll laugh even if no-one else does
