"Weird Fantasy"
*LOL* that's weird, really

Remember back when Citadel was a fun company? :?
-
Ahhh yes... Dwarf samurai, ninjas, and stilts-kin... hilarious. Too bad they decided to "go all gothic".
-
I had one of those :) But I have no idea whatever happened to him. :(
-
Waow ! One of the GW mini I like the most !
Nice poncho on it, dinohunterpoa.

What an awesome sculpt. . . so much personality. Love your paint job, especially the poncho and the cigar.

That is indeed a great figure (and nicely painted, too). I have one I painted... close to 30 years ago? Sheesh - it probably has been almost that long.
-
I was at GenCon the year they released this figure - I'd run through most of my spending money and had to pass on this one - and on their "Undead Pizza Delivery Man", which was a skeleton in a paper hat with a shield-sized pie hoisted at shoulder level.
I did get the pegasus with the bomb racks under its wings, though. It's still around... somewhere.
-
Some years later they did a variation of him with crossbow pistols, as I recall.
-
Don't forget these for Weird Wild West:

How does the OP's figure differ from IronWind Metals figure?
Alas, no picture of the latter...
Dwarf With No Name
[RPC-002] $4.25
This product was added to our catalog on Monday 31 October, 2005.
Gracias,
Glenn

Hmmm... seeing that figure, I'm now wondering if I misremembered about their being a version of the Citadel one with hand crossbows.
-
Quality! I love Citadels old models, there so much better than the new ones, such character!
-
I have one with a crossbow in western garb. Guess a few pictures might be in hand to add to the western themed dwarf discussion.
Gracias,
Glenn

Me too. Some of the new ones do too, of course (the ogre maneaters, the Empire hero with the bottle of wine, the brawling orcs, etc.) but not so many now. Of course, they used to be targeting the role-playing gamer as well as the wargamer, which they don't really do anymore.

Have you got linkks for these?

Wow £8 for the empire fig, is he 12in tall? or perhaps solid gold?
