Title: What a difference something simple makes
Post by: pauld on February 06, 2011, 08:49:06 PM
For years I have played wargames and spent hours happily painting little men I would plonk on a green playing surface adding a few trees on individual bases grouped together to make a "wood".

The trees didn't look like a wood - they looked like individual trees grouped together and not a defined bit of terrain.

I'd been too lazy to do a base........

1 scrap of plastic card, a bit of paint, ballast, flock and lichen later (and all as quick as very quick) EUREKA!

My wood now looks like a wood - I can change things round and it looks like another wood.  Why have I been so lazy  :(

Well, not all battles must be on the edge of a forest, and they do definitely look like healthy, proper trees. :)
