I've completed another barn... that's two this year - I know you can barely contain your excitement   :?

Also got my clock out and took a photo of it...

It's what my blog was built for... http://6milphil.wordpress.com/

Beautiful work.

What is the stone base made out of? Did you carve up small blocks of styrofoam and then paint them?

And what is the car you show in the picture on your website? What manufacturer?

That's a very nice barn, and thanks for the tips on building it you include in your two barn articles. Great titles, too. I need to make a few farm buildings soon, so I'll be bookmarking those articles on your site.

It's made from cork, I cut strips and then chopped them to stone/brick sized pieces, and quite irregularly too. Laid them like bricks with glue and then applied mock-plaster - it's covered in the post on the blog.

The car is an Austin taxi, it's a diecast by Lledo I believe, off ebay.

Thanks Joe, good luck with your build.  :)
